Death is always painfull and terrible. Both for Israeli and Palestinian people. The difference is - Palestinians target CIVILIANS, where Israeli target terrorist combatants. Hence the double standard.

gonna agree with shooric on this one... and i think youre being very narrowminded here - over in the UK where i live, its the other way round, the palestinians become the innocent victims and the israelis are portrayed as terrorists. however, im still on israels side and so-called art of this nature shouldnt be allowed.

You do stronger statements when you don't seem to bash Israel and US for the sake of it but show parallels... This picture is powerful as showing the same amount of pain in one side as in another. Demonizing one side is always dumb.
As for the people who explained the double standard, it's not that simple.
The Israeli army has to occupy Cisjordany and the Gaza band, not only for reatiliation for terrirst acts, but also to protect the stupid settlers who install there. To fight terrorism, they also sometimes throw bombs. If you fight and throw bombs in a place as overpopulated as the Gaza band, you'll necesarly kill civilians, no matter how pure are your intentions. Some of them know this. For instance the 20 Israeli pilots who refused to throw bombs on the Gaza band not too long ago.
As for Palestinian terrorists who do attack civilians, they're not much defendable, but not all attack civilian and school buses. There were also a lot of attacks on the Israeli army and on the settlers (who are armed), but these, even the ones on the army, are labelled as "terrorist acts" as well.
And to end. A Palestinian kid killed is not responsible for the terrorist groups who hire his older brother. Nor the Israeli kid is for the settlers and the occupation. They're the victims of the extremists of their own countries. If double standard there must be, make a double standard about the people who want peace in each country and the ones who don't want it.

i just can't help but say that its a know fact that long before Israel was made... the Zionist Movement did very similar terrorist attack on the Palestinians... that was when Palestinians had the army and the Israelis where just trying to get a country... then we gave more then we should and now the roles are switched... if the world made up its mind to give all of the US land to the Native American and forced us all to live in small cities on land set aside... we would blow ourselves up on buses too... i can really see some of the south going to hell if that happen...
