Nice art!Isn't it great if things r just like in ur pic?People should love each other. Everyday I wonder why war still exist until today, where people talk about great things such as "human rights" or "perpetual peace". *sigh*

Fine. But anyone who is aware to developments on Middle East must admit that extremists organisations, like Hamas, are struggling the power with Palestinian Authority. In Gaza Strip the Palestinian Police clashed with Hamas, and the Gaza is so unstable that Egypt is building the wall on its border with Strip.

Anyone have idea how to stop Hamas-like crazy fanatics and how to build a stable country for Palestinians? No. But everyone have millions of ideas how to bash USA and Israelů

havent you figured it out that it is not the Iraeli's fault but that of the palestinian terrorists? Every time there is a chance to have peace talks the Israeli's jump to the table. Where is the promises of ceasing the terrorist homicide bombings? The palestinian terrorist organizations and their lack of real leadership is the cause for the lack of peace in Israel. Destroy the terrorists, banish or kill Arafat and there will be peace.

Palestinians didnt kill Rabin ;)

Its not about who started the conflict... eventhough Palestinians lost their lands and all... Israeli and Palestinians should live side by side !
When you give something you dont own to somebody else, there's gonna be problems :)
The whole problem is about 'giving palestinians a SUSTAINABLE land', which they dont have...
Jumping for an agreement, agreeing to give palestinians 20% of what they deserve isnt a good step for peace... bombing them when they get mad isnt a step for peace either ;)

The problem with Palestinians is that when they get mad, they tend to blow themselves up in pizza parlors.

Also, it depends on what you mean by "give something you don't own to somebody else." Israel was won by several wars all of which they didn't start.

It's a complex problem, but I think it's got some easy answers to at least som aspects of it.

Reading up on a little history does wonders.

the problem is not the palestinians... ever thought WHY they got mad ? Years of frustration, of lack of freedom, of civil rights...
Israel was won by wars ! Hmmm... if you read history, you'd know it was the english and the french who gave the land to the jews.... You expect the owners of the land to be happy ? Palestinians were against it... they fight ! It doesnt make it legitimate ;)
If Hitler occupied France and made them kneel down... makes it right ?
Its too late now to put a blame on somebody... there must be coexistance :)
The core of the problem in Palestine and the middle east, is giving a land to these poor people !

Actually, no, the English and French were the nations that gained control of the territories of the old Ottoman Empire after it was broken up at the end of World War 1, but they didn't give any land to Jews.

The Brits, with the Balefore declaration allowed a quota of Jews to come to Palestine every year, something that Arabs originally wanted to happen because they hoped the influx of Jews would create industry and thus raise property values in the region (something that was in the tank otherwise. Palestine was known at the time for being almost worthless).

But then World War 2 happened and Jews begun to come to Palestine in order to escape Nazi oppression. As a result, the Brits attempted to allieviate the problem by forming Syria into four different territories including Syria-proper, Lebannon, Palestine and Jordan.

However, war broke out between the small Israeli Defense Force and the surrounding Arab nations including Egypt and Britain becasue in 1948, Israel declared its independance. The Israeli state was a mere fraction of what they now have but instead of leaving the Jews alone, the arabs attacked and lost and thus lost more land.

This happened again in subsequent wars. For instance, in an attempt to destroy Israel in the 60's, Egypt failed to achieve victory and ended up losing the Sinai penninsula in the 6-day-war.

Eventually, the Sinai was given back to Egypt in exchange for peace treaties. This is usually what happens when Israel takes territory (the most recent example being the exchange of the Gaza Strip in order for peace agreements).

So you say coexistance is the key? Who, might I ask you is making more of an attempt to do so? The Jews or the Arabs? Who initiates the peace talks? Who's the first to give concessions in the name of peace? Who are the ones blowing up pizza parlors with their suicide bombers?

You want to try and convince me that Jews stole the land from Arabs and that Arabs have no where else to go and that is the reason they use the underhanded tactics that they do? The only thing you convince me of instead is your own ignorance of the situation in general. How much time have you spent reading the actual history of the region from a neutral standpoint?

When you say the core of the problem is giving land to these 'poor people,' I agree. The Jews should be left alone with their homeland.

But if I were Israel, I would do what they are doing. They are surrounded on all sides by countries that want to see them fall into the sea. The president of Iran has said 350 times in the last year that he wants to nuke them off the map.

And you say that it's a lack of civil rights on the part of JEWS?

Gimme a break.

From everything you've said: you're biased...
From every action there's a reaction... When Israeli troops get to bomb palestinian territories in Gaza you expect nothin in return ? And vice versa ! Dont put all the blame on arabs ! Its stupid !
ninebreaker Featured By Owner Oct 26, 2006
You're biased as well. Not putting all the blame on Arabs, but you cannot deny that Israel is acting with more honor in the situation.

You can't expect palestinian terrorists to blow up Israeli night clubs and expect nothing in return.
ZOtherOne Featured By Owner Oct 26, 2006
There's NO HONOR in killing civilians and children whoever their nationality is ! Israel has killed more children and civilians in the name of peace more than ever ! More than palestinians! It just has to say the word 'terrorist... the magic word ! and bouuh: its honor ? :(
I condemn ANY act of violence ! Those palestinians blowing themselves up are also criminals ! the worst kind.
But face it : those are desperate reactions ! Is Israel the Oppressed all of a sudden ?
If you think Palestinians have got all their rights ! that they dont deserve better: there's no point in discussing !
No Justice, No Peace
The big power is Israel... and she has the 'big decison making' !

'One of the definitions of madness is the repetition countless times of the same action, always expecting a different result. For more than half a century, the Israelis have been applying the tactic of massively disproportionate retaliation to every provocative act of resistance attempted by the Palestinians, expecting every time that this would bring peace and security to all the people of the Holy Land. Every single time they have done this this, it has backfired. Every single time. The national philosophy (it is really deeper and more significant that just a military tactic) that underlies this devotion to massive over-reaction, and particularly its corollary, collective punishment, is obviously and demonstrably foolish and futile. It does not intimidate or deter the Palestinians, and it never will. It hardens their determination to resist and to defy. I don’t care whether you consider the Palestinians to be terrorists or common criminals or freedom fighters or national resistance heroes. If you are an intelligent and sensitive human being, you learn from your past mistakes and you make a rational decision to try something different. The Israeli leadership for all these many generations has been incapable of performing that really rather simple mental and moral exercise.'

There is no honor in the situation ! There is no honor in having soldiers kill civilians with riffles or bombing yourself up ! Don't compare ! Its a vicious cycle !
