This particular drawing has nothing to do with Israel. Please try to stay on point. You can call our people ignorant sure, it pisses me off but you can do it, but WE don't stooge for Israel, our corrupt government does because of AIPAC. Don't accuse us of being proud of our government's corruption, asshole.
FUCK you, boy. I'm sorry, but it's completely impossible to remain civil, and even moreso to not say anything. I don't give a shit if you go after our politicians, but don't you FUCKING EVER go after our soldiers. They're out there getting their asses shot because nobody else is doing anything about the killing, the committing of GENOCIDE, in the name of religion over there, (hell, I'm thinking other nations EXPECTED us to stomp over there) not only just for their oil. I myself don't give a rat's fleabitten ass if it's in the name of one's god; killing is killing.
P.S. I don't give a damn either that this was put up in 2003; it's still up, which makes you fair game. Racist dipshit.
Thats great work. Personally I don't think its sad for anyone to die in war but those people have the choice to fight and everyone who does knows the consiquences. I love how you drew that it was great. War is awful and nobody should think about starting one.
Can't say I like this one..the work overall is okay..nothing fantastic, the message is what is suppose to be powerful. But for me it provokes me in a bad way. The soldiers didn't die for bush. They died for the country..so this aggitates me..and I find it to be very disrespectful to the soldiers. Ecspecially for me since my own father was a vet and did die from the vietnam war. I'd like to say I like this picture since it is a good drawing..but the concept isn't doing it for me.
Of course, you're entitled to your opinion, but reasonable minds can disagree on whether there was actually a valid reason to go to war against Iraq. It doesn't look like the clear and present threat to the US actually existed. I'm reminded of the Vietnam situation; the South fell to the communists, and there wasn't a huge global collapse and massive rise of communism. That was either a lie or a naive miscalculation. Even McNamera has come forward and said that the US was completely wrong when it came to our political analysis of the Vietnam situation. More than 50,000 US soldiers died, and the principal outcome was maintenance of the status quo that would have occurred had we not intervened.
I've read that the real purpose of the Vietnam war was to provide a "proxy" conflict to avoid all out war between the US and the USSR. Fine, as long as you're willing to pay a price in blood to diffuse "tensions."
So if is true that American soldiers died because they trusted their government, or there is evidence that the government was either incompetent, or deceitful, then the piece is just expressing that they were possibly tricked out of their lives. It's not anti-soldier per se; note that the gravestone is actually a gasoline pump.
Bet this one is pi$$ing OFF the Global Oil Barons who Carter placed in the Middle East. "To die for an idea; it is unquestionably noble. But how much nobler it would be if men died for ideas that were true!" -H. L. Mencken
Who Said Art can't save the Planet, once again your images help restore perspective to a desperately sad planet. Well done my friend & a instant +FAV
